A TASTY WELCOME BREEZE FOR COMPETITORS AT THE SECOND STOP OF THE NEW IFCA GRAND PRIX SERIES.

The IFCA Grand Prix Croatia will take place on the Croatian island Brač at the Zoo Station Windsurf center in Bol from the 23rd till the 26th of Augusts. The racing format for this event will be slalom for both Men and Women with a European Slalom Title to be awarded to the Best Female and Master competitor.

The registration took place today 22, Augusts with A total of 37 competitors from 8 nations registered and ready to race on a high speed down wind slalom course, with a reaching start, tight turns around the mark and towards a finish line right in front of the beach at the Zoo Station Windsurf Center. The wind forecast predicts medium to strong thermal winds throughout the week,it still will be a day by day situation to see how and when the winds will be suitable enough to start the races here in Bol. It is Mr. Alen Kustić, the new appointed Principal Race Officer and his team that will manage this Grand Prix Slalom event alongside the IFCA officials. 

The competitors of interest here in Croatia are; Locals Luka Mratovic and Enrico Marotti, The young and strong Italian Francesco Scagliola and the Multiple Windsurfing Champion from Poland Wojtek Brzozowski. The excitement is high here in Croatia as we expect to see some grate slalom racing performances at the second stop of the new IFCA Grand Prix Series.

The official Opening ceremony is scheduled for tonight in the city center near the harbour.
